Building an aloe business: the honest version
Most pages like this open with a lifestyle photo and the word "opportunity". This one opens with the numbers, because they're the part that should decide it and they're the part everybody buries.
Everything below comes from Forever's own published Income Disclosure Statement. I haven't softened it and I'm not allowed to improve on it, nor would I want to.
Who it suits, who it doesn't
Who this suits People who already use and like the products, and would buy them anyway. People who want a small side income and are realistic about the size of "small". People who enjoy teaching, explaining, or writing, and want somewhere to do it. People with patience measured in months. Who this doesn't suit Anyone who needs this to replace an income, or needs money soon. Look at the table again. Anyone hoping it will be passive. Anyone uncomfortable being visible, because visibility is most of the job. Anyone who'd rather recruit than sell. If the product isn't interesting to you, the business built on it won't be either.
What I'll do, and what I won't
I'll show you exactly how I run mine, the content system, the templates, what works and what hasn't. I'll answer any question about earnings with the disclosure statement rather than an anecdote. I'll tell you if I think it's a bad fit for you, including after you've said you're interested. I won't message you unprompted about this. Ever. I won't use urgency, scarcity, or a "closing soon" intake. There's no such thing. I won't charge you for training. Anyone in your upline selling you the tools to succeed at the thing they recruited you into has an incentive problem. I won't post income screenshots, cars, or holidays. Forever's policy prohibits it, and it would be dishonest given the table above.
Five questions worth asking any direct selling company
Use these on me, and on anyone else who approaches you.
Where is your income disclosure statement, and what percentage earn nothing?
What does it cost to start, and what must I keep buying to stay eligible?
Am I paid for selling product, or for recruiting people? (In Australia, schemes that pay primarily for recruitment are illegal.)
Can I return unsold stock, and on what terms?
What happens if I stop, what am I still committed to?
If any of those gets a vague answer, that's your answer.
If you want to talk
Message me on Instagram, or use the contact page. Tell me what you're actually hoping for and I'll tell you honestly whether I think this does it. No call required, no presentation, no group chat. If I ever start behaving like a recruiter, this page is here to hold me to it.
